Yangtze Civilization Pavilion, one of the major architectures of the 10th China International Garden Expo, completed its roof-topping and started interior decoration on March 13, 2015.
At present, all the four major architectures, namely, the Yangtze River Civilization Pavilion, International Garden Art Center, Hankou Town and Western Service Zone, have finished roof-topping.
The 10th China International Garden Expo is scheduled to be held in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province, from September 2015 to April 2016. Tourists from all over the world can appreciate a high-level international garden expo with the theme of “Eco-Expo, Green Life”.
Hosted by MOHURD and The People’s Government of Hubei Province, the 10th China International Garden Expo will be jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, the Chinese Association of Parks, the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Hubei Province and the People’s Government of Wuhan City.
Situated on a local refuse landfill called Jinkou, the main venue of the 10th China (Wuhan) International Garden Expo consists of 5 artificial hills, with the highest peak reaching 46 meters. A tree exceeding 10 meters tall will be planted on the hilltop as “treasure of the hill”, surrounded by various kinds of saplings and flowers, lawns and winding trails, presenting a panorama of idyllic scene.
