Situated on a local refuse landfill called Jinkou， the main venue of the 10th China （Wuhan） International Garden Expo consists of 5 artificial hills， with the highest peak reaching 46 meters。 A tree exceeding 10 meters tall will be planted on the hilltop as "treasure of the hill"， surrounded by various kinds of saplings and flowers， lawns and winding trails， presenting a panorama of idyllic scene。
Started in 1997， China International Garden Expo is an international event of the highest level in China's garden industry。
It has been held biennially for nine times in Dalian， Nanjing， Shanghai， Guangzhou， Jinan， Chongqing， etc。
The 10th China International Garden Expo will be held in Wuhan， capital of central China's Hubei province， from September 2015 to April 2016。
With a total area of 231。77 hectares， the China （Wuhan） Garden Expo will be sited in the core area of Zhanggong Embankment Park， with Changfeng Park and the former Jinkou refuse landfill as main venue。
